Jennifer Sheehan, cabaret singer and  Jered Egan, bass and James Folowell, piano visit Lukas Community for a private sampling of her American Songbook concert on Saturday afternoon before their 7:30 show at Bass Hall.

Our second outreach concert is at Plowshare Community on Saturday, March 23 at 3 pm. The Borromeo Quartet performs a short concert of Beethoven Quartet selections that day prior to their concert in Keene that evening.

Oren Fader, virtuoso guitarist and Elizabeth Anderson, EEC resident cellist, joined Laura Gilbert and Jonathan Bagg in a performance of the Schubert/Matiegka ebullient quartet, music of Dusan Bogdanovich and some Piazzola Tangos.

Horszowski Trio returned to Lukas to play a new work by Joan Tower, “For Daniel” and Tchaikovsky’s blockbuster Trio.  Jesse Mills, violinist of EEC’s resident trio said “I wish I could give near the 150% I give when I play at Lukas when I’m on a formal concert stage”.  Lucky Lukas Community audience!

Trio Cleonice played Beethoven and Dvorak Piano Quartet, with EEC’s Jonathan Bagg on viola, for Lukas’s Family Day.  The house was packed and it was a beautiful day!

EEC, Metropolitan Museum Mentor, Nitza Horner and Avaloch Farm Music Institute partnered to present Paint the Music, an adventure in listening and painting the music, for people of all ages. Oren Fader and Ilana Davidson joined EEC directors Gilbert and Bagg for a concert of “Music from the Heart”, including music by Franz Schubert (Arpeggione Sonata, played by Bagg and Fader), Villa Lobos’s haunting Bachianas Brasileiras no. 5, Ned Rorem’s Romeo and Juliet Suite and some solo Bach.

Auréole Trio comes to Lukas to play Debussy’s revolutionary work for flute, viola and harp and music from Israel by Paul Ben-haim and Lior Navok.

Auréole stops in to play a mid morning concert for the students and staff at Crotched Mountain in their beautiful auditorium.

Horszowski Trio & EEC Musicians perform selections from Schubert's Trout Quintet, Schulhoff's Concertino, and Dvorak's Bass Quintet, and Eric Moe's brand new Trio "Welcome to Phase Space".

The Horszowski Trio performs a benefit concert for Monadnock Center for Violence Prevention. The program includes Franz Schubert's Sonatensatz in B-flat; Bright Sheng's 4 movements for piano trio & Robert Schumann's trio # 2 in F major.
