Violinist JENNIFER ELOWITCH is Co-Founder and Artistic Director of the Portland Chamber Music Festival, which celebrates its 20th Anniversary Season in 2013. With the festival, she has appeared on WGBH radio in Boston, NPR’s “Performance Today,” at the Harvard Musical Association, and in a continuing series of concerts on Maine Public Radio. She is also a member of the Hikari Trio with cellist Elizabeth Anderson and pianist Yuri Funahashi. Ms. Elowitch has appeared as guest artist with the Winsor and Andover Chamber Music Series, the Walden Chamber Players, and the Mark Morris Dance Group. As an orchestral musician, she is the Assistant Principal Second Violinist of the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra and has performed often with the Boston Symphony. A noted teacher, she has presented workshops and master classes at The Boston Conservatory, Community Musicworks in Providence, New England Conservatory, and at Lawrence University (WI).
