We returned to Franklin School on May 29th for an afternoon of “Paint the Music” for a combined event with the music and art classes. The kids painted to a performance of Debussy’s Impressionist masterpiece, Sonate for flute, viola and harp.

Also on May 29th, at 6pm, EEC directors, Laura Gilbert and Jonathan Bagg, joined the eloquent harpist, Jacqui Kerrod,, for a special performance at the Historical Society of Cheshire County, in conjunction with opening day of their exhibit Treasured Places, Protected Spaces celebrating environmental conservation in painting.

On May 30th at 2:00, EEC played an hour long concert for the residents of the Memory Care Unit at Summerhill Assisted Living, Peterborough. That evening we returned to Plowshare Farm, Greenfield, for a post-dinner concert of music by Robert Patterson, Timo Andres and Toru Takemitsu.
