A Taste of Wine and Music

 ~ A Summer Serenade at LaBelle Winery ~

LaBelle Winery is New England’s premier destination winery and vineyard. Though formally opened in the fall of 2012, the journey began a decade earlier when owner Amy LaBelle experienced the “Aha” moment that set her on the path that would result in establishing the winery. In a short time the winery has been the recipient of several awards, and Amy herself was named one of ten Remarkable Women of 2013: Women of Cuisine, by New Hampshire Magazine.

It was also in 2012 that Electric Earth Concerts was founded (and in 2014 also received an award from New Hampshire Magazine in the Best of NH 2014 Arts, Culture & People category for Best Classical Encounter. Like Amy, founders Jonathan Bagg and Laura Gilbert had been moving towards the fulfillment of their vision for many years through their earlier musical endeavors in the Monadnock region,  as well as their activity on the global stage as performers and teachers.

What better a way to enjoy a summer Sunday afternoon than a wine tasting, accompanied by a sampling of Artisan, Imported, and Domestic Cheeses, followed by a lovely concert of chamber music: Summer Serenades and Divertimenti by Mozart, Beethoven and Reger, performed by Debbie Wong, violin, Jonathan Bagg, viola, and Laura Gilbert, flute.
