One of America’s premier exponents of the historical piano brings his characteristic mix of intellect, virtuosity and poetry to a program of classical repertoire. Breitman performed Schubert’s song cycle, Winterreise with baritone Thomas Meglioranza for EEC in 2019, and was acclaimed baritone Sanford Sylvan’s long-time collaborator. Breitman directs the Historical Performance Program at Oberlin’s Conservatory of Music. His program, performed on a fortepiano, will feature three works of W.A. Mozart, as well as music of Haydn and C.P.E. Bach.
