June in Jaffrey: “Quintetsential” Brahms & Mendelssohn

The String Quintets by these two composers are among the most deeply moving in the repertoire. Hear Mendelssohn’s youthful exuberance in his Opus 18, and Brahms’ mature magnificence in his Op 111,  in the concert finale of June in Jaffrey at the Grand View Barn. Musicians include Adela Pena, violin; Lilit Gampel, violin; Jonathan Bagg, viola & Greg Hesselink, cello.
