Jennifer Sheehan: Stardust – A Night in the Cosmos

Celebrate the Perseid meteor shower at its peak with a brand new show inspired by the magic and wonder of the night sky! Concert and cabaret star Jennifer Sheehan will be joined by four stellar New York musicians for the planetary debut of “STARDUST – A Night in the Cosmos” at Peterborough Town House. The unique show will feature a sensational variety of songs and intriguing stories about our awesome universe.

Sheehan has become a highly sought-after new voice in the concert and cabaret world. She has performed for audiences in venues from coast-to-coast and in the UK, including Carnegie Hall, Café Carlyle, Feinsteins at Lowes Regency, 54 Below, Ely Cathedral in England, The Sheldon Concert Hall in St, Louis, and notably, many concerts at Jazz at Lincoln Center.

She has already wowed Peterborough audiences with her cabaret performances of “I Know A Place” (a showcase of songs from the 1960s) and “The American Songbook”. She brings a New York level of pizzazz and professionalism to the stage, while at the same time radiating an engagement and accessibility that makes her right at home with a Peterborough audience.

The band includes James Followell, pianist and music director; Steve Bargonetti, guitar; Jered Egan, bass; and  Dan Gross on percussion – all highly acclaimed musicians who provide illumination for Ms. Sheehan while shining in their own right.

Quotes about Jennifer Sheehan

“It was simply one of those cabaret moments to be remembered for a lifetime.” ~ Kevin Scott Hall ~ Bistro Awards

“ The beauty of Ms. Sheehan’s voice is refreshingly unvarnished and devoid of circus tricks. Drawing from a deep well of feeling, she interprets lyrics from the point of view of someone who knows who she is and conveys empathy in a voice that glows with insight.”   Stephen Holden ~ The New York Times
