Folk-indie trio Plume Giant celebrates the Summer Solstice at Cathedral of the Pines, Rindge, NH at 7:00 pm
The young and highly infectious “retro-folk trio” Plume Giant brings three-part harmony, original songs, and a rich string sound to their act. Hear them while watching the setting sun at Cathedral of the Pines, a famously spectacular view of Mount Monadnock
at 7:30 p.m.

The Chiara Quartet and George Gopen, scholar and extraordinary reader, will collaborate in a hybrid concert that juxtaposes T.S. Eliot’s masterpiece, Four Quartets, a work inspired by Beethoven’s Late Quartets, with the String Quartet in B-flat, Opus 130.

Program: Bach: Orchestral Suite #2 in B minor; Schubert: Der Hirt auf dem Felsen (Shepherd on the Rock); Mozart: Exsultate Jubilate and the premiere of EEC’s commissioned songs for soprano, strings and flute, by Boston composer, Nick Stoia. Join us for an hour long concert and then dine at The Waterhouse Restaurant in Depot Square.
